Age of Artists participating at THE ARTS+
THE ARTS+ is a one day conference and five day fair on The Business of Creativity. It will kick off 19-23 October 2016 in Frankfurt/Main and will be the annual event for the international cultural economy. Among confirmed speakers are legendary artist David Hockney, bestselling-author Jeff Jarvis (What would Google Do?), MIT’s Carlo Ratti or Annie Luo from the World Economic Forum.
Age of Artists is presenting during the first morning when THE ARTS+ starts with an Espresso which is brief and stimulating – and anything but black: Everyday up to five candidates working at the intersection of creativity and technology will present their innovative concepts, projects and ideas within a dynamic relay on THE ARTS+ RUNWAY.
Age of Artists at the Dortmund [ID]factory Forum 2016
Age of Artists is represented with a keynote at the upcoming [ID]factory forum Wednesday, January 13th, 2016 in Dortmund Germany. The [ID]factory forum, initiated by Ursula Bertram, Professor for sculpture and interdisciplinary work at the TU Dortmund, presents innovative approaches of artistic thinking in non-art contexts. We are excited to be part of the event and hope to meet you there.

Age of Artists is very pleased to announce our key note and workshop contribution to the 22nd Handelsblatt conference on strategic IT management. The event will take place between January 18-20 in Munich, Germany. It covers digital and information technology strategies from more than 40 national and international IT experts. Together with partners from GE, 4 Advice and Risch UB we will cover a conference special during the first day.
Age of Artists at Knowtech 2015
Age of Artists presented last week at this year’s Knowtech, a conference about knowledge management, social collaboration and industry 4.0 for German-speaking audiences. The host BITKOM, the industry association for the digital sector in Germany offered a diverse and very interesting selection of keynotes, lectures and workshops. The motto „Smart and Social – knowledge activation in the digital age” was constantly present and people discussed all the great opportunities technology innovation provides while wondering what this will mean for people and their work. Keynote at the Alumni Conference of the German Foundations Academy
At Age of Artists we are interested in discovering how and what humans or individuals may learn from art, in order to bring about change in society. Change that, in our view, is urgently needed. That’s why it is very important to us to engage with key players in driving social change. This week we had the opportunity and pleasure to speak at the alumni conference of the German Foundations Academy (Deutsche Stiftungsakademie).

Design to Align is the motto for this year’s combined DMI Design Management Conference Europe & Intersection 15 that take place April 28th – 30th in Berlin, Germany. At Age of Artists we are very much looking forward to contributing to a great event by leading a master class, an interactive and collaborative learning format introducing and discussing our findings on how to learn from creative disciplines for better outcomes in business and society.
Inauguration of The Peace Maker-Franklin-Emerson Circle
Kirsten Gay participated last week on behalf of Age of Artists at the Inauguration of the The Peace Maker-Franklin-Emerson Circle. This was the first formal meeting for this group whose purpose is to enhance the United States of America in the eyes of the world by promoting a cultural conversation. The circle was held in the home (Historical Museum) of Ralph Waldo Emerson. At Age of Artists we are grateful to be part of this emerging effort.
